There were so many, many things I loved about this wedding day: summer, incredible flowers, amazing toasts but most importantly the people within it. I feel blessed and honored any time I am able to be a part of the wedding planning journey with clients but when it is for the third wedding with a single family, words are hard to come by. I fell in love with this family seven years ago and have felt, and will always feel, that they are a deep part of my heart. Each wedding has been personal, unique, and beautiful in its own perfect way. For Ramy and Eric, we wanted to make a day that was filled with soft colors, lush greens, comfort, and one good celebration.
I think we got it just right.
One of the highlights of J&D weddings is doing a room reveal with my clients. All of the months of planning and details all come together and there is nothing I love more than to show them the vision brought to life. For Mary Jo (Mother of the Groom x2 and Mother of the Bride x1), this wedding was our finale and I could not wait to show her. There were a lot of tears that day- part in knowing that this was our encore and the other because I just love them all so much. I have tremendous love and respect for MJ and I will always be grateful for her constant support and recommendation of Johnny & Dottie. Ramy's tears of joy solidified everything I had hoped for her and Eric. It was everything.
