Shanna + Dave

Disclaimer: I am really in love with Shanna and Dave. Like, wedding love and friendship love and smitten love. The photos will explain why.

I first met Dave and Shanna at a wedding networking event. Shanna told me she knew it was me by my bangs (as in, 'look for the girl with the bangs'). Girls connecting over style. You have to love that. Quickly, Shanna and Dave became instant colleagues as Dave is a phenomenal cinematographer and Shanna is an talented "re-loving" designer. This lovely girl can refurbish (re-love!) an entire dresser in an hour. She is amazing!! Common bonds over wedding timelines and amazing clients quickly turned to a personal friendship. God has a way of making great things like that happen!!

When Dave proposed to Shanna and they started planning, they asked for me to be a part of it. I was honored and elated that they trusted me with the floral design and planning of such a special day. What I wasn't planning for was Shanna and Dave's incredible labor of love they put into the entire day. Let me tell you: it was their LABOR of love! Invitations, hand painted and hand tied silverware, sewn CD covers, hand sewn heart décor, a load of personalized signs, a handmade bar, and did I mention they MADE the tables food guest to feast upon? Yes, it was THEIR labor of love...and a true testament of their willingness to make their first day together as husband and wife a gift to those that attended and a devotion to each other to enjoy the process of starting a new life together. Tucked into the prairie just across the border in Iowa, their wedding day will be one that I will always hold dear to my heart.

Congrats Shanna and Dave. Your wedding day was perfection (even with a 30 mph wind out in the prairie!) in every sense of the word. The Lord is blessing you in so many ways and I am so excited to see where your journey takes you!

This Watters gown was so very, very Shanna. Bridal Accents Couture is SO good to my Brides!
